My best friend and I are working on a couple builds for PDXLAN 12.5 . . .both are our personal rigs . . . .he is getting hand-me-down hardware which is still an upgrade from his existing stuff . . .I will take his old Danger Den Waterbox (Q6600-based system) and use it as a clinic workstation.

Anyways, my rig is the one with the two Feser 480 rads and one Feser 360 rad, his is the one that has three Black Ice GTX 360 rads (one installed in this post). His has black mobo tray, top and bottom, mine as blood red instead.

His specs will be:
QX6700
Quad SLI 9800 GX2
EVGA 790i mobo
Corair 1000 watt PSU
Three Loops
4 gigs Custom Crucial DD3 Ballistix Tracers
not sure of HDDS

My specs:
QX9650
TRI-SLI Palit 280s with Nickle-plated DD blocks
EVGA 790i mobo
Koolance 1300/1700 watt immersion-cooled PSU
4 gigs Custom Crucial DD3 Ballistix Tracers
Two 1.5 Gig HDDS
Three 1 T HDDS (will fit more if I can find space)
TO Reservoir
3 Loops (plan to have one GPU on each loop paired with a component from the mobo like CPU/NB/SB, or mofsets)

My rig sponsored by Palit (three 280s), Danger Den (blocks and such), Feser (radiators and tubing), Bitspower (pump housings, power stations, fittings, NB/SB, Mofset blocks ), Smooth Creations (air-brushing), Performance-PCs (fans) ,Koolance (PSU), Crucial (custom DDR3 Ballistix Tracers), TribalOverkill (custom resevoir)

I am waiting on parts from Bitspower to finish mine off . . .

What exactly makes a loop and what makes 3 loops? Does 3 loops have to have 3 radiators or 3 pumps?

Three loops means three complete circuits containing Pump/radiator/block. Good example:

Reservoir -> Pump -> Radiator -> CPU
Reservoir -> Pump -> Radiator -> GPU
Reservoir -> Pump -> Radiator -> Northbridge -> Southbridge -> Memory

Each loop is an end to end solution for the given blocks.
