Well, I finally found a 1080 Card that did not break the bank.

So now it is time to Build a new setup...

I have an old yup old CROSSOVER 27" IPS 1440 x 2560 60 Mhz --Monitor

I Game mostly..and will do a Lite OC on the CPU I am looking at....

8700K-CPU
I just bought the MSI-1080 Armor-Video Card
Also thinking of the Gigabyte Z390 Pro- MoBo
1TB 970 Evo
Evga CLC 280 AIO- CPU Cooler
Evga SuperNOVA G3 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold-PSU
Planteks P350X Case

*UPDATE *
Purchased all above and some 16GB-3200Mhz memory

Go i7-9700k for the additional cores. Don't forget you need a CPU cooler for 'k' units.

Get a SATA SSD instead, such as the 860 Evo or Crucial MX500.

I think I will pass on the 9700K due to price point..why spend the extra money...
Also looking at a Corsair or EVGA AIO for the CPU..and the SATA SSD would be cheaper but I like the idea of no cable management with the 970 EVO.

Right now the i7-9700k is only ~$30 more (Amazon) than the 8700k. That $30 gets you two additional real cores.

NVMe and m.2 are not the same thing (how many times does this have to be posted?). You can get most current SATA SSDs, including the 860 Evo and MX500, in the m.2 form-factor and not have any cabling for the drive.

True, I could have saved some money on the Sata M.2 but I went with the MVMe......and as far as the 9700K it is $60 more at my local MicroCenter $329 vs $399.( 8700K MOBO/CPU combo discount)

Went with the build above due to time constraints..but want to thank BluelineSwinger for the input.

***On a side note***
My 1080 Armor (Ex. Mining Card) showed up today..Great delivery time.
But my Planteks P350x case is delayed until the 14th...Thanks Amazon..some type of bundling products to ship together BS

Update...had a bad memory stick and went to return them at Microcenter...
By the time I arrived they had sold the last one..did not want to spend another hour driving back when they restocked(in a day or two)
So I purchased some Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz(was $10 more but manager gave it to me straight up exchange)

EVGA CLC 280mm AIO is working great.(30c idle--53c after long gaming).Pump set to about 2400RPM out of 2800 and fans are around 1400...But the Fans are freaking loud..
So,I bit the bullet and got 2-NOCTUA NF-14 IPPC-2000 fans..HIGH STATIC psi)..Worth every dollar
My temps are now in the upper 40's after a long bout of gaming. Most important -I do not have to ramp up the fans as high to keep the radiator Fluid cool. 1200RPM
