On behalf of a friend of mine. New build as of today: X-Fi extreme gamer soundcard, Gigabyte D3SR or something motherboard, on Vista.
Apparently audio's fine, but being new to Vista, he's having difficulty figuring out how to get the mic input to work. There's no hearing him on Ventrilo or similar, even though his configuration's fine. Drivers are all updated.
Any info would be great.
