New Accelero is coming

Accelero coolers work great usually, but look awful. I really wish Zalman would get back into the game. They make some great aftermarket coolers that also looked cool.

I've not had trouble with VRM temps with my 290x + Accelero Xtreme III, fans @ 12V.
With +100mV and 1150MHz GPU overclock, the hottest VRM is around 75C.

I was very careful applying the heatsink glue.
It was used sparingly and I slid the heatsinks over the VRMs with strong pressure a number of times before holding them in place with good pressure, very still for a few minutes.
This is to get the closest possible contact between the VRMs and the heatsinks.
The less glue in the way, the better the heat conduction to the heatsink.

I did the same with the memory heatsinks and can clock 5Mhz short of the max Afterburner can go without adjusting Aux voltage at all.
To 1620MHz (6480MHz quad pumped).
This is despite one of the heatsinks only having half a heatsink due to the GPU coolers mount plate hovering over the other half of that chip.

fyi

Its an effing large heatsink though, the end of it sticks into the hard drive bays in my Antec 900 case.
