New 4P Build

how much did the full set up cost? what CPUs are in them?

What PPD does that single PC produce?

Thanks
ROC

I have two 4P builds. Four 6174 and four 6180SE Opterons. Spent about $4,000 for 8 CPUs and $1,500 for two motherboards. That's where 90% of the money goes. The rest is just the normal stuff to build a computer and not very expensive. As for PPD there's a lot of varience depending on which WUs you get. Just divide my EOC stats by 2 and that's a pretty good gauge.

The board only supports 1333, no issues? I have some 1600 at home so just want to verify.

The Supermicro boards support 1333 at 1.35v or 1.5v. My GSkill is rated at 1600 at 1.65v but also supports 1333 at 1.5v so it works just fine.
