Coming soon, looks cool. Someone to compete with areca ? (see my nightmare about areca by searching this forum for areca 1210)

It'll be nice to see some competition. Areca should be releasing their new cards at that time too, looks like they renamed them from 1230ml to 1231ml and so on with the 1's at the end. They also took off the sample deleivery on their site so it looks like they should be shipping in the next month. I have a 1230 card and i must say it is the easiest thing i have ever used. My first raid setup and install, setup took an hour mainly cuz the freakin card was larger than i expected and had to rearrange the drive, but bios reconized it and booted fine, took about 5 minutes to setup the array and 3 hours to intailize 4 500gig disks. The speed is insane, i can't wait to add another 8 750 gig drives later on next year.
