Here's the situation. I want to get a couple boxes online through my wireless connection on my main rig. Let me make a detailed explination of what the network currently looks like.

ISP -> Cable Modem -> Router -) (- Main Rig, -> Hub -> Box1, box2

-> = Wired connections
-) = Wireless connection

So basically, ISP goes to modem, modem goes to router which sees two wireless connections, My Rig and my Girlfriends rig (not shown above.) My Rig has a wired connection to a 16 port hub with two computers also connected to it, both wired.

Now, the modem and router are in an office downstairs, and I love upstairs, so I can't directly connect boxes to the router. No, that would make my life too easy. :-/ Hence the wireless connections on gf's and my rig.

Now, Internet Connection Sharing knocks my rig offline, so I can't use that. And I don't have cash to spend money on wireless nics on boxes I don't plan on keeping (I know I can take them out later, but it's really NOT worth it.) Foldserver I haven't tried yet, but if it can't see the internet, useless also (not to mention my wired nics don't have boot roms.) Would use USB drives, but my main rig would pull down 1140's which the boxen can't fold, 256 megs ram on both.

So... I'm kinda stuck, any help, links etc... I'd REALLY appreciate it. I'll edit this message as questions are asked.

Edit 1) All computers are running Windows 2000 Professional

not sure what to do in this manner. I haven't messed with Win2k pro much at all. I would suggest that this question get asked in the networking forum. Best answers will be found there. :)
