When doing an IPCONFIG /Renew I get this error

"An error occured while renewing interface local area connection : unable to connect to your DHCP server request timed out"

Any ideas as to why I'm getting this error?

I'd say your computer was unable to connect to your DHCP server, because the request timed out (i.e., the DHCP server didn't respond). Make sure your network connection is plugged in, and the DHCP server is up and happy. Besides that, we need more details...
