We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

I have XenDesktop setup in my home lab, and I can start up a Windows Desktop from my iPad, when I am on my internal network.

What I would like to do is make it so that I can use my iPad when I am not at home to spin up a desktop session.

Has anyone here done this? I cant seem to find any good guides on how to set up external access for XD5.

A VPN would be the best way to go IMO. A Cisco ASA with the AnyConnect VPN Client on an iPad would work great.

I came across an article where someone has already done this:
http://community.spiceworks.com/how...e-devices-without-using-citrix-access-gateway

I am thinking each XenDesktop is exposed via this method once they are up and running.
But I'm no XD pro .... that's a work in progress.

I found that article, but it requires that each desktop have its own public IP. Since I only have 1...I need a NAT solution. The first article you found looks to do exactly what I need, just waiting on my new switch to be delivered.

I will update this when I have a chance to try it out.
