I need a new screen. Have been looking at a few different ones.

ASUS VW266H
Hanns·G HH-281HPB
ASUS VW246H
Dell 2209WA - I have heard pretty good things about this one. But I don't like rez & lack of hdmi input

I will primarily be using for fps, mmo, rts, flight sim games, normal pc work, & watching hd movies. I would like to stick with 16:10 & 1920 x 1200 or higher. I know 24" asus aint these but the price and reviews seemed good. Any thoughts? Thanks!

What would be your budget on the monitor? Among the 3, I would personally pick the ASUS VW266H 25.5". For $305 ($30 MIR) w/free shipping is a pretty good deal. It's 1920x1200 resolution and the monitor has 1:1 pixel mapping. I would get an IPS panel like Dell 2202WA if I was doing more photoshop work as a TN panel just won't do. However, I wouldn't be content with the Dell 2209WA 22". I would go with the Dell U2410 24" with the higher resolution. For gaming and watching movies, you can get by with a TN panel. Yeah, the viewing angles is not good etc. But, I have the 27" ASUS display and viewing angles don't bother me when your right behind the monitor and is eye level with it. In comparison to other TN panels I have or have had, the ASUS is actually pretty good. The colors are pretty vivid with minimal backlight bleeding and no stuck/dead pixels.

Not to worry, the ASUS VW266H has 1:1 pixel mapping and therefore can display the 1920x1080 image without stretching the image to 1920x1200. You will just see the black bars on the top and bottom.

Are u console gaming? if so get 1920x1080 resolution.
