I bought a Rosewill PS since they claimed awesome amperage on thier 500W supply but im suffering now :rolleyes: The 12V line goes from 12.04 to 11.70 during gaming sessions and 12.04 to 11.85 when Im browsing the internet (Apparently this website is too [H]ard to handle) and I believe this is the cause of the random restarts I've been having.

Anyways, I brought the choices of a new PSU down to two.
Either the OCZ Modstream 450W or the Superflower/TTGI Plug-N 550W

Ive seen some reviews on the Mod and they seem to have low 12V ratings... but many claim they are top-notch when it comes to stability
The TTGI seems to have zero reviews going for it, but the general concensus seems to approve of TTGI

Both are exactly the same price on frozencpu.com. I plan to order tomorrow so any help will be appreciated. I am leaning more towards the TTGI because it has a 140mm LED Fan :D . I learned my lesson not to trust the posted wattages
 
Unless you want the same problem all over again stick to psu's from the following companies: PC Power & Cooling, Fortron, Sparkle, and Enermax....I would not play with anything else. Try a unit with 480W+, it may cost more, but what's the price for instability.
 
alright, my choices were numbers 4, and 5 on that list! However, I took twajet's advice and ordered a Fortron 500W. The dual rails and tremendously positive reviews won me over :D

You made the right choice, as you would have to go all the way to the Antec NeoPower 480W to best that Fortron with a modular. ;)
