Need your opinions...

Is it really bad not to be able to get over 60fps? Also, why do you need vsync on an LCD? It's not like tearing can happen on an LCD.
 
I do get tearing with VSYNC off. It's very annoying. Was wondering if anyone had tried the monitor I mentioned in my previous post or can reccomend me a better one.
 
If you game don't bother with LCD's. Why pay more for a slower, tiny monitor that most likely had a patheticly low native resolution? Not to mention that when a new game comes out that is too strenuous to play at native you are screwed.

I would look into the NEC 21 inchers. Unfortunately, some fool at NEC (probabily a young analyst) decided that CRT's were the work of the devil and that they should stop selling them. Some old board member must of liked the guy and had the policy forced onto the company's roadmap. So they are harder to fine now. I was not too happy with my P95+b, but my friend has a nice viewsonic that is better. The warrenty is top notch, 3 years. No problems that LCD's have like dead pixels, backlights randomly going out, slow performance, contrast, brightness, etc. If I could not find a NEC I would look into that Viewsonic. At any rate, PCWorld liked it.
