I have an IC7 with pc3500 mushkin lvl2 black with 2.4c and 160gb HD


I was trying to install OS onto the HD but after it format an error msg pops up. I've tried different cd rom drives and different disks for the win xp pro but all of them come up with the error message so I can never finish the install.

Winxp isnt installed yet trying to format and install but gets error screen I need your help or I might need to take it to the local computer store


The problem says

If this is your first time please restart and try again and if these problems keep continuing please follow these steps

You can disable new hardware or you can disable memory caching or shadowing then it has some other things you can do that don't work

Then maybe we could possibly assess the problem.
