Hey guys,
i've been reading the forums for some info on a new rig and still bit confused
i have the following options!:
I'm definently getting the following:
19" Samsung 940B or 19" Benq FP91+
2 x 512 MB PC 5300 XMS 2 Corsair DDR2
Leadtek 7600 GT
I'm going to re-use
My 80 GB WD 8MB Cache HDD
Pioneer DVD Burner
Asus Wifi Card
Now for the confusing bit:
Foxconn P9657AA Mobo
E6300 Conroe
OR
Gigabyte 8I945PLGE-RH
Intel D915 CPU
OR
Gigabyte 8I945PLGE-RH
Intel D805 CPU
I'm on a budget at the moment, hence i'm only able to strech out and get the foxconn board if i were to go the conroe route, however if i get a D915 i can get the better samsung lcd.
I am going to overclock to about 3.4 ghz mark for the D915 and the D805, and about 2.8 GHZ for the conroe, however i face another dilemma
im only gettin a 'generic' standard PSU but its rated at 550w, i dont know if its enough and also i dont know how good they are providing constant power, so i need your expert advice/opinions on what to do
also with cooling, i will get it after a few wks, after a good cpu cooler and northbridge cooler, nothing that im on a budget as well, im going to purchase some AS and whats the easiest way to get rid of the crap on the stock cooler?
appreciate any help and comments
im from australia by the way, so i might not be able to get stuff specific to your respective countries!
have a good day!
