my friend has a dell computer that does not have usb2 on it.

what do i need to get usb2 on her computer?

if you mean that comp doesnt have usb 2.0 the just buy usb 2.0 card for pci slot
 
If it has USB 2.0 ports, then you might need to load the chipset drivers. If it doesn't have USB 2.0 ports, than your going to have to buy the PCI card. We can't answer anymore than that without more info.
