Need some help with a decision please help

Alright guys, so i might be building a computer for a friend. In the process I can either get

2gb DDR2, e6300, and a biostar tforce95

or

i can probably get a 19" LCD monitor and 2gb DDR1


I am posting this in display becuase of the lcd.

right now my system consists of

AMD Opteron 144 @ 3ghz
1gb ddr1 patriot xblk
120gb hard drive
300gb hard drive
7800gt
Thermaltake Deepwater water cooling system.

17 inch CRT sony monitor. G220



i am tired of my G220 it takes up space, i woudnt mind either a 17 inch or 19 inch lcd. But i will trading my 7800gt in for a 8800gts in a month.

I wouldnt mind upgrading to a e6300 and 2gb of ddr2 ram, for free. its hard to make this decision for me so if you can support me in either one with your reasoning that would be helpful. Feel free to ask questions
