Need some help overclocking 3870 CF

I am running vista 64, and no matter what program I use I cannot seem to overclock both cards in CF. I can get just the engine clocks up but I have to take them out of CF and when I put CF back in they go back to stock, or at least the "slave" card does. Using rivatuner I can overclock the "master" card, but the slave card will not accept any clocks (if you test/apply they just go back to default).

Nope, it will do the test thing and Accept will light up, and once clicked the sliders will stay where they were placed. However, the current clocks stay at stock and when I check the clock speeds with rivatuner or another app, they are at stock speeds still.
 
After not being able to find a program to overclock both cards, I finally caved and flashed the bios. I used a bios from a gigabyte model that had 830/1200, then just using rivatuner to set the fan to 55%. Cards are loading at 65C, so I cant complain :)
