Hi guys (and the occasional girl...)m,
Ive been piecing together a new system for the past two months and im tired of stubbing my toe on all the pieces laying around that are doing me no good, so I have decided to spurge and buy the last parts I need, RAM. As ya all know, there are too many choices out there when it comes to ram and ive decided on two choices:
Mushkin level II 3500 BH-5
And OCZ 3700 gold Rev 2.
Both in 1GB dual channel quantities. Ive heard nothing but good stuff about the Mushkin with it being the best on Intel boards and running with tight timings. But the OCZ stuff seems to be able to underclock and run tight timing also, but also offers the flexibility to run at pc4000 speeds also. Now I am in the position where they both cost relativity the same, and I just cast decided on which one to get, basically I would like to know what would give me the best gaming performance as well as being a good OCer and with the least amount of possible problems ( I had some Geil 3700 and all I can say is meh..) the specs of my system are as follows
IC7- Max 3 mobo
P4 2.8c
ATI AIW 9800 pro
Some Blue 550 watt power supply I found at SVC for thirty bucks
And that should be all that affects performance.
I would like to buy soon, ( no later than early next week) and would value any of your suggestions highly!
Thanks
