I'm looking to burn a compilation DVD with several .avi files. I also would like to be able to have a menu at the beginning so you can choose what video to watch. Is there any freeware that would do this on Vista?

Thanks.

You can download fully functional 30 day trials of Sony Vegas Movie Studio or Sony Vegas Pro from sonycreativesoftware.com

http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials

You will actually need the DVD Architect Studio (Vegas Movie Studio) or the DVD Architect (Vegas Pro) to actually author the DVD. If you do not need to do any video editing and only want to author the DVD, then the DVD Architect/Studio versions are all you need/ The software is very easy to use and quite powerful .

The Movie Studio (non-pro) Vegas should do 99.9% of all the things a home user would want.

I would dload the trial and make your dvd.

At work we have Roxio 9 MyDVD on the system and it does exactly what I want. I came home, downloaded it and tried it on my Vista machine. It doesn't work well on Vista.
