Need some build suggestions!!!

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, Web Browsing

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
500 Dollars excluding shipping and tax.

3) Where do you live?
Chicago

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word
Case, PSU, CPU, MB, DVD/CD Drive, HD, OS

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
EVGA GTX460 1 Gig Superclocked
G.Skill F3-10666CL9D-4GBNS 4 Gigs

6) Will you be overclocking?
Not likely
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
21-22 inch

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Within the next month

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? etc.
I would like to future proof the MB as much as possible, so USB 3, and Sata 6Gb/s, Crossfire and SLI support are a plus but not necessary.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No, I will be purchasing a 7 64 bit though.

Side notes:
I am building this machine for my fiancee. The only game/games she will be playing are WoW and other MMOs. I plan on going with an I5 or a less expensive AMD quad core. Dual cores just cant cut it in MMOs anymore, unless they are super expensive. The GPU is on RMA and the ram is also being RMAed as they are from my former build.

Can you wait until the second week of March, or do you want to buy the parts ASAP? I ask because the combo deals that are available now will expire on Monday (the end of the month) and the good combo deals for March won't arrive until the first full week of March.

You can't really "future-proof" the motherboard as AMD will be selling new AM3+ boards and processors within the next few months. The AM3+ board reportedly will work with AM3 processors, but no AM3+ processor is expected to work with any AM3 board that is currently available. (Around late March or April, Intel will release the Socket 1155 boards without the Cougar Point flaw -- in the SATA 3.0Gb/s ports. The Sandy Bridge processors will also be re-released at that time.)

I will probably be waiting the next 2 weeks or so to get this done. I am waiting on the RMAs to come back to me, then I will have to stress test the shit of the GTX460 before I am sure I am willing to build this. As for future proofing I should rephrase. I want it to be somewhat upgradable. So an an AM3+ board is probably worth it, if its not overpriced. But I don't see her utilizing a AM3+ Chip or a sandy bridge chip. Myself playing BFBC2 and WoW as well as Photoshop, etc hardly use 1/3 of the potential my I5 and 6970 are capable of.

How about this: Revisit this thread after you receive your parts back from RMA and confirm that they're fine.
