Hi, I have a friend who is looking for an Intel HT system. Right now he has a 2.6ghz s754 setuo, but is dissappointed in the snappiness and multi tasking of it. He liked his old P4 better actually.

He is NOT a gamer at all. So, that isn't important. He wants the quickest, smoothest setup that can be had for about $450. He is a big overclocker and has a really nice Thermaltake TT heatsink.

What mobo/cpu do you recommend for him to get?

He just said that he wants a dual core Intel system. The pentium D 830 doesn't look bad.
