I'm getting ready to build a new system and I have everything picked out but the Vid-card...
I THINK the only games I'll be playing are World of Warcraft and F.E.A.R I'd like to have them look the best with-out going over-kill in the $$ department So I'm looking for suggestions on the best bang for the buck ATI card.

I guess I'm looking in the $50-$180 range.....

with my old system I'm running a ATI 9800 pro which works great for what I need.... but its AGP and can't be used with my new system..... so maybe if I could get something a little better than the 9800 pro

You don't think your gonna play any other games? Whats your monitor? are you SLI or Crossfire ready?

if your on an LCD with default res 1440 X 900, or a 17" or smaller CRT, an HD 2600XT would be a good choice. I say that because it has a big lack of ROP horsepower (in comparison with its other specs). The 8600GT and GTS are good all round cards, but I think you would by better served by these cards if you run higher then the res mentioned above.

For all of these cards don't get anything other then the 256mb versions.

anyways, if you don't think I'm right, check for yourself using this, the greatest video card resource ever made.
