i know that their "DIY combos" seem tempting but more often than not they aren't really good deals

sounds like they throw in parts that aren't moving well and then put them in a list and discount them

This. Getting rid of slow moving junk combos is what most of them are. You can still find good combos but its almost all just "two item combos."
