Need Podcasting Help..

I work for a school district and we are looking into doing in house audio and video casting of board meetings, etc. For whatever reason I'm having problems finding info on how much bandwidth we might need (least of our problems), server requirements, and even good hardware to use for high quality audio and video capture. Anyone have a good website or resource on doing podcasting from the bottom up? From what I can tell we will be using RSS 2.0 so I doubt bandwidth will become much of an issue but I would like to know if we need an upper end server to host this or if we can slap it on something we already have running.
