I built my pc inside an Apple G5 case, but I'm not satisfied with it. I would like to do some modding to the case. I've thought of windows, air ventilation, different lighting schemes, etc. But I'm not sure what to go with.
The wires definately need to be managed, and since I took this picture I've installed 2 exhaust fans in the back of the case (they fit perfectly into the spots made for the original g5 fans), and one intake fan in the front of the case. I've also installed a small fan to keep the air moving in the top of the case. My hard drive was overheating.
One of the main things I want to do is cut the noise down. The exhaust fans aren't too loud, and neither is the intake. But the small fan I used by the hard drive is loud, and the cpu and dual gpu fans are noisy as well. I don't want to buy new fans, I think if I could sound proof the case a little better (the fron and back a basically wide open with the metal grill) it would help.
Anyone have any ideas for me?
