Need ideas for a mod

I recently bought an Aspire X-QPack case. Now, I love the way it looks stock, but it also just cries out for mods. Anybody got some ideas for one?
 
Okay, not to nag, since you're not the only one to do this, but it's a LOT simpler for folks if you post a link to a picture, or a web page that has it, like this.

As far as mods go, I suppose you could cut extra fan holes in the windows, or possibly get custom etched windows done for it (not sure how easy it is to remove the windows, so not sure if that's possible). Lighting options are many, either with ccfl's or led's. Shoot, get some of those running christmas lights, and string them inside the case!! :eek:

Do me a favor, and let us know how cool your system runs. I like those little cases, and would love to get one myself, but would use it for an amd-based system. If they tend to run hot, that'd be nice to know. :D
 
Dunno how cool my processor is. MSI reads way too hot, and I can't get a good mount for my temp probe. My 6800GT is idling at around 60C on stock cooling. 75 or so under load. My thermally controlled psu fan is on it's lowest setting, and the air coming out of my 120mm fan is cooler than room temp. The air coming out of the slot blower next to the video card is slightly warmer than room temp.

Looks like screws or rivets are holding it in place...if screws then duh, and if its rivets you would just need to drill them out....a rivit gun and rivits cost at most like 30 bucks

Here's a good review of this case, at tweaknews.net. Answered some of the questions I had about the case, including the fact that they report the cooling on it to be better than average. In fact, the only downside to this case seems to be it's a bit light on the 12v rail on the power supply (13amps, versus what most people consider minimum of 15amps). Not a large deal, imho.
It does mention that the windows are fastened with rivets, if I remember right (sorry, I read the review this morning, and can't remember, and I'm too lazy to go look again! LOL), but that's not a big deal. PC Mod Shop could do a cool window for the case, I'm thinking the top one might be the way to go, but that would be up to you.
As far as the problem they noticed in the review, where they commented on how ugly the top of the optical drive looked in the top window, my solution would be to either strip the labels and paint it (or polish it), or possibly even put some carbon fiber laminate on it (check out Dragon Plate for some cool stick-on laminate.) :)
