I just need to know so that i could shop for a cooler to go with it.
Suggestions for a (LGA) P4 550 ??? Im leaning towards Zalman 7000 copper

im not sure exactly but the Zalman 7000 will fit, i think 68 mm is the max height, def under 70mm. So basically shoot for 65, i know lots of people have zalmans in this case.
 
or you could have some fun trying to get the cooler on after the mobo's in :p
 
it is just under 3 3/4" probably more like 3.5" ...I can't get a real good height because my measuring tape is at my friends house and my ruler doesn't bend well :) 3.5" should be a safe bet
 
yup the clearance looks to be just under 70mm... I had to cut my thermaltake silentboost up pretty good to get her to fit... luckily the spinning fan was lower than 70mm high, but the grates were not...
