Ive reasearched and searched and all, and when I start up this older computer that I got for free ( I dont know if the bios supports overclocking) but when I start it up it doesnt tell me any keys to press to get to the bios....

With that said, how can I get into the BIOS stuff?

The computer is a HP Pavilion 8370

Thanks for the help!

When it boots try:

F1
F2
F3

F10( Im guessing this would be it)

DEL

Shift-F2

This of course would be during the BIOS boot screen.

Okay I got to where I believe it should be and then went to advanced.

I see CPU Type, CPU Speed, and Cache Ram...

I take it that it cant be overclocked because I dont see any of the stuff that you are supposed to raise and all...

I'm guessing no... because i belive HP puts an overclocking lock on their computers. However, i think you can flash it with a special haxed bios or just use ClockGen, a software program.
