I have no idea which belongs to which.

The mobo has pins labeled:
1 = MIC_IN
3 = MIC_POWER
5 = FRONT OUT (RIGHT)
7 = NC
9 = FRONT OUT (LEFT)
2 = AGND
4 = AVDD(5v)
6 = BACK OUT (RIGHT)
8 = NC
10 = BACK OUT (LEFT)

The front panel audio has plugs:
R
L
GD-
MIC+

I've tried:
MIC+ > 1
R > 5
L > 9
GD- > 2

The front audio works but back audio stopped working. The back mic worked but front mic still doesn't.

what board and case do you have?

MIC+ should connect to pin 2 on your front audio header but where is the mic signal wire on the front panel?
It's almost like you are missing half of the wires for the front panel stuffs. ;)
Follow?

Of course it did.
with the scenario you presented there is no way to route the signal back to the rear panel from the headphone jack in your case.
(the headphone out jack has to have wires and connectors that connect to pins 6&10 in order for the rear connectors to work)

without splitting the cable and doing more wiring work than its worth... you are better off using your rear sound and running a 2-1 Y rca splitter through your case by drilling two holes and mounting it in the front audio panel.

^^^ this is why they have live drives for audigys.. its basically a solution for this problem @ the level of every possible connection, with added bonuses so it can be marketed.
