Need help with Dual Display setup blacking out!

I have a Dell FP2001 and a Dell FP1907 next to it.

I used to have a CRT as my secondary monitor but now I'm using the 1907.

Ever since I set it up, I've had a strange problem with it blacking out or flickering between black and normal screen.

I use my web browser (firefox) on this screen and whenever I have another non fullscreen window open on top of it, it does this flicker/blackout thing.

It could be anything from windows media player, or even the browsers own options window.
If its not full screen and its on top of my maximized firefox window, it can cause this problem. Now it doesn't do it 100% of them time, but often enough that I'm seeking a solution now cause it's becoming annoying.

Sometimes it'll even stay blacked out and I'll have to ctrl-alt-del and end the program from my other screen to get my secondary screen back.

Anyone have any ideas, thoughts or possible solutions to try?

Are you sure that a program is causing this. My gut Instict would be that the monitor is bad. But you could try this switch the 1907 to primary and see if the same thing happens with the other monitor. Otherwise I would start reinstalling the program that are causing this.
