Need help with a QUIET keyboard and mouse please

hey guys, recently moved my gaming desktop into our master bedroom.


As much as I love my Corsair k70 vengeance mechanical keyboard and steel series sensei mouse, it’s way too loud for late night gaming. Don’t wanna make extra noise while the wife is sleeping.



I’m literally looking for a quiet, no noise type keyboard and if possible, a gaming mouse that does not make a clicking noise upon clicking.


Anything out there ?

I don't know ... honestly I'm not sure you are going to get a set up quiet enough for a room with another human trying to sleep at the same time..

mx-reds on your current keyboard are pretty quiet as far as mechanical switches go.. you could switch to a membrane keyboard but those tend to bottom out all the time so it could be at least as loud or louder..

this is probably the quietest keyboard I have personally seen.. I bought this many years ago.. I actually HAAAATE it.. my wife however likes it and has used it ever since.. much to my annoyance if I need to work on her computer..

some people quite like these however..scissor switches .. should be quieter than your mx-reds.. (do you have dampers on your keyboard?)
