Hello all.
I recently purchased followings from newegg and tigerdirect from my friend's recommendation, what would be the best way to overclock this to 3.2ghz?
Or what would be the ideal overclocking for this spec and what else do I have to make it stable under extreme use?

Hardware list.

CASE: ANTEC|P180B BLACK
MB: ASUS P5N32-E SLI NF680I 775
MEM: 1Gx2|COR TWIN2X2048-6400C4Dominator
CPUCOOLER: ARCTIC P4|ACFreezer 7-PRO
GPU: EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS Superclocked 640MB PCIe
CPU: INTEL|C2D E6600 2.4G 775 4M
PSU: OCZ 700w GameXStream
HD: MAXTOR 500GB SATA II 16MB Cache

P.S. I will be using this computer for high res illustration and also lots of gaming :)

THANK YOU!

Not really i will probably working alot of consecutive hours on it so it'll be on basically all day. But it tends to get hot easily during the summer where I live.

Depends on how lucky you get with your chip. Some people can run their 6600s at 9 x 400 (3.6ghz) with a minor voltage increase. Those with more recent e6600s have been complaining about bad batches, so I wouldn't EXPECT 3.6ghz. Expect 2.7ghz+ and be happy with anything higher. At 2.7ghz, you would be at 9x300, with the the memory running at 600mhz. You should be able to do this without any voltage increase. You can even run a memory multiplier of 4:3 to run your memory at the ddr2-800 speed.

You can lower the multiplier to 8x and do 8x400=3200, or you could get a 6420 which is a 8x multiplier and a bit cheaper. I went that route, with either chip though you could get a good OCing chip or a bad one.
Remember if you want 400mhz bus your MCP on the 680i is gonna get hot. I would suggest some after market cooling. I'm running thermalright H05's on both my NB and SB and they are extremely effective and fanless.
