I currently have a 3 year old 40GB 7200 WD with 2MB cache and (2x256MB) 512MB of HyperX PC3500.

I have the choice of buying (2) Seagate 7200.7 Sata HDDs running them in Raid 0 or purchasing another 512MB (2x256MB) of Kingston HyperX PC 3500 ram.

Go with the sata raid or go with the ram? Mhhh... Help me decide. Thanks!
 
really depends on what you use your computer for. personally i'd like the raid 0, i think the gains would be more significant than the 1 gig of ram.
