Need help finding a display.

[th3count]

Hello,

I am currently an owner of an Nec Opticlear 90GX2 which unfortunately id discontinued. I am seeking a replacement and i cannot seem to find anything with similar features to this.

24"+ w/400 cd/m2 brightness rating, and a glossy finish. everything i am finding is matte.

I have been working in electronic sales for 5 years now and this is by far the nicest monitor i have ever come accross. the problem is i cannot find anything that matches it. but then again i only know what i can see which is the crap selection at best buy.

if anyone knows of some monitors w/those specs please tell me. i have been looking for a few days now and like i said i can only find matte displays.

Sometimes NEC has 20wmgx2 refurbs available. That would only be a slight upgrade for you though even if you were lucky enough to find one. The 27" apple cinema display is probably what you'd like. Go to a bestbuy or apple store and look at it in person.
