At present my quad core q6600 at 3ghz (stock volts) is hitting around 80c on quad prime acording to coretemp and intel TAT. The cooler im using is a noctua which at the time i was told was a good cooler, doesn't seem to be able to take the heat of the quads though.

Would a tuniq tower make much difference to the temps? Been looking at some reviews and it seems to be second only to the thermalright 120 by a few degrees. Anyone here usin a tuniq on a quad core?

The biggest drawback with quads at the moment is the cooling, if you run it at stock it's still hot, and once you start oc'ing you have an inferno. Even using high end water can't keep the quads cool at this point. Hopefully Penryn will be the answer.
