I've got this weird problem on this server PC.
For some reason, Azureus crashes it. I'll be working just fine, browsing the web in IE with it minimized to the system tray, moving the mouse across the screen.....when suddenly, I notice the mouse STOP. Screen is frozen, move mouse around = nothing happens. Taps [CAPS LOCK] on keyboard, light doesn't change. System locked solid. This persists for 3 or 4 seconds while I wonder WTF is going on...then it's rebooting.
No blue screen.
No system error.
Nothing in Event Viewer.
Nothing *anywhere* to indicate why!
Here's the thing....I can leave 3dMark03/05 looping all night...no reboot. I can run Prime95 maxing out the CPU all night....no reboot. Fire up Azureus...within 15 minutes, the system flips out.
There has GOT to be something wrong with this system's hardware that this program is clueing me on it, but I just can't figure WHAT! My only real good guess is something with the way it accesses one of the hard drives (torrents and all), so was wondering if there was any program I could leave running overnight that would just beat the crap out of one of the hard drives, testing it.
Thoughts?
