Quick, run two SMP clients and use Affinity Changer. Any question on how to do this just ask away.

I run the linux client inside a VM, 2x VM's per Quad.
At 3.1 Ghz its good for ~4,150 PpD per Quad.

Luck ........... :D

You can setup two SMP clients two different ways
2 SMP Clients in Windows (guide by Killer[MoB])
or 2 SMP Clients inside 2 Linux Virtual Machines (guide by Tigerbiten)

I've done both ways. I currently run 3.42 daily. I was getting about 4300 PpD with 2 SMP Clients in Windows. I am now running 2 SMP Clients inside 2 Linux VMs and am getting 4600PpD. With the two Linux VMs, I added a single F@H client (configured for idle cycles) and add an additional 100PpD for a total of about 4700. This was a little more work, but I got to dabble in Linux while I was at it.

Okay I set it up - 2 SMP Clients in Windows (guide by Killer[MoB])

and now I'm getting a timered checkpoint triggered response. Any advice?

That is normal. Every so often (say every 15 min) the program will save data, just in case you need to shut down or reboot or whatever. It's a good thing. :)

Fold on!

Its possible the extend the save time to 30 mins.
Just start with the -config flag and extend it from 15 to 30.
If your running 24/7 without shutting down then it makes no difference if you save every 15 mins or 30 mins as you dont use them.
Its just when you do shut down, you can loose slightly more work, however long your frame time is over 15 mins, if you shut down just before a frame end.
I run all my clients with a 30 mins save time and finish all my frames within that time.

The other option is just overclock the boxen more so you finish a frame within 15 mins ............... :p

Luck ............ :D

lol +1 for more OC

I've got mine set to 15 mins and I've never hit it, even with 2 SMP clients. My frame time is about 11min.
