So basically I am getting ready to change to a new case (one that can be setup for better air flow) due to heat issues. So I want to get the best CPU cooler I can to go with that, but one without a huge footprint (I don't want it to bump into my RAM slots on my motherboard). For a while I was thinking about the Corsair WC, but then I realized that would be an insult to WC'ing. I mess around with my box to much to want to worry about an actual WC setup, so I'll stick with good air for now.

My bottom video card gets way to hot after extended hours of play due to the heat from the PSU. Getting a case with the PSU mount at the bottom was a bad idea (case looked really cool though, no pun).
 
Id highly reccomend the TRUE, have one on a p6t dlx v2 and it fits fine.

As you can see in my pic my ocz reaper fits great (had it in first slot by mistake lol) but at least i know that 12gb will be fine. Chip clocked at 3.8ghz, load temps at 70-65-67-64.
 
Awesome, thanks! That was the cooler I was going to get, but figured it might be too big.
 
Well...you might save a few bucks and gain a few degrees. If you have the money to spend go buy a TRUE.
