I am looking for a cheap (cost-wise) psu but must have decent rails 600+ watts and look good as well what are my options?

what are you going to run? I can assure you that almost nothing now needs 600w.. not even dual 8800gtx. It's how many amps the psu can put out, and if it can really do what it says it can.

Wel I am just going to run a overclocked amd or a intel system not sure which one pci express with one video card mid range nvidia based 3 sata hard drives 2 optical drives thats it.

Silverstone ST50EF / Enhance ENP-5150GH will be perfect.

But is that thing any good?

I was looking at a 500w that people tell me is pretty good for $50. THE ONE that people say to buy at $50. I would like to save the money of course.

It's nothing to write home about, but for ~$7 after MIR, it's certainly hard to beat. Its only competition at said price point is the Powmax Assassin, which also comes to ~$7 shipped after MIR @ Newegg. Here's a review for the Assassin:

The X-Finity, however, isn't as good as good as the Enhance/Silverstone 500w units BBQ listed.
