Hey, I've been looking into getting a small form factor pc for quite some time now but always been worried about heat and psu issues. Apart from this ive never need the expandability of a full tower and i've been going to alot of LANs its getting abit to big to carry about now.
After much consideration I was thinking about getting a Shuttle SN21G5. This comes with a 250w silent-x psu. I've looked and these power supplys seem to be able to run a whole lot but I would like some input if it could run my system. I've done a PSU calculator my stuff comes out at about 258w but looking ive seen people loading these upto about 300w.
Spec as follows:
A64 3500+
2x1GB Ram
7800gt (it reference design single slot cooler)
200gb WD drive or 2x36gb raptors (depending on what it can handle)
DVD-RW
I've got all those components already they just want a new home. I've got £220 to spend i have also been eyeing up a qpack (because i already have a mATX board) but i really like the size that the shuttle can offer. Any comments and/or suggestions are welcome but i cant go over the £220 budget.
Thanks alot, also sorry for the long post full of noob questions hehe.
