I bought some Logitech Z 640's from a local pawn shop, and was going to use them as a 5.1 surround system for my enterntainment center. My plans were to hook up my DVD player to them to watch movies on, but I ran into a problem. My DVD player has the component audio out, but the speakers have PC connectors for sound. I need a 5.1 Console Adapter (like if you wanted to hook up your XBox to these speakers) and the only place I can find them online is Logitech's homepage, but they are out of stock. Anybody know any other place online where I can find them? Are there any retailers, such as Radio Shack, that carry them?

My only concern is this: my DVD player is only two channel, so I have a feeling that I could only get 2 channels even with an adapter, thus defeating the purpose of 5.1. If that is the case, I will hook it up to my computer that has 5.1 and a dvd player, and hook my tv up to the video card. I'll just use my PC as the entertainment center. The only thing that will bite is switching speakers back to my creative's for gaming. I'll go ahead and do that if I can't get 5.1 out of a two channel dvd player, which my fear is the truth.
 
Yup, that sounds like the best way to get 5.1 audio with your speakers.
