Need a recommendation on which burner to buy.

All I care about is reliability. Burn speed is not important to me.

Is this a good one? I selected it, because I recognize the brand and it got solid reviews.

ah... plextors don't make dvd burners anymore, they are rebadged lite-on's that comes with proprietary plextor software.

the most reliable dvd burners i've used are nec's. i'ved burned 1000+ dvds on multiple nec's, they've now merged into sony optiarc's like this one [here].

I have the Sony/NEC 24x also.. its a nice burner with solid burns.
