Need a new card

My 6870 has treated me well, it may still be under warranty I haven't checked but it's been acting weird lately.

- Random green / static on my primary monitor.
- Randomly turns off my left secondary monitor.
- & Now this morning my right secondary won't run at the proper resolution


I need the cheapest video card that can run 2x30" 2560x1600 + 1x1600x1200

What does everyone suggest? (I don't game on this system anymore.)

I was debating going with 2 fanless video cards to keep power low, and nearly silent system..

Advice?

I'd be OK with a single card if it actually has less heat, and is near silent too. But, I think you have to spend a lot more than $60 to get that from 1 card.. right?

6670-7750 come in passive versions from HIS under their iSilence
powercolor with 6750/6850/7850
gigabyte 5750 and many others
Sapphire with 5670/6670/6450/7770/7750
then there is like you pointed 5450 as well as 6450(these can easily be found) from nearly all makers, course if you do go passive not a bad idea to have a fan pointing towards it anyways a little noise is better then overheating.

The other option is of course get a cheap card and aftermarket cooler that is passive, if they are low TDP cards, then you can go passive with the good cooler, such as Artic Accelero S1 Rev 2 which I used on my 6870 and works wonderful just zip tied 1 120mm fan to it. Anyways, there is some choices for ya
