I just recently took my Ati hdtv wonder out of my old pc and added it to mine. I downloaded the trial version of sagetv to test it out before i buy it, but every time I start up sagetv it says no video capture device were found. Im a noob when it comes to this stuff but i tried to install the drivers from ati and sagetv still doesn't recognize it.

Does the card show up in device manager as being "working"? If so, can you install the software that came with the card to see if that works?

Make sure you've got XP SP2, DirectX 9.0c installed, then go to this http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html and click though "XP drivers and software", "TV Tuners", HDTV Wonder..." and install the first 4 of 5 file packs.

If it's still not being recognized in SageTV, install the multimedia center and confirm that the card is working through the TV function.

Don't forget to move it to different PCI slots too.

Then again I probably wouldn't bother with it all. The card was/is a pile of crap.
