Need a little help deciding...

Need some help deciding. This is gonna be a long term investment...and I want it to last me for a WHILE. Ive gotten mixed opinions on which card is better, so I came to the most knowledgeable computer forums around to ask all of you. I need one that is gonna run any game high settings and make it run smooth.

My current setup: P4 3.0e w/HT, 512 RAM (being upgraded to 1.5), Asus P4P800-E Deluxe Mobo, and Soundblaster Audigy Gamer

destroys the 2 you have listed though I guess you are staying with agp?

look if you are asking about performance the xt wips the 6800gt but the gt have more features like sm.3 px.3 hdr but it depends about what res are you using if 1024*768 or 1280*1024 take the gt but if above the xt is better

i'd vote for the xt also. its all-in-wonder, yay tv tuner.

I'd go with the XT... As its all in wonder and it slightly better than the GT.
