Need a case with good airflow

Ok, so recently i was considering getting a new case, and I was looking into the Lian-Li cases because i liked how theyre were no obstructions in the way of the front intake fan and that there was no front door to it. The only thing that i didnt like about it was the price and that the less expensive ones do not come with side windows.

So here is my thing, i want you guys to help me find a case that has really good airlfow, uses 120mm fans for atleast the intake and exhaust, has no front door, and has some sort of holes on the front to allow for the air to freely pass through the front intake. I dont care what it is made of as long as its not plastic and it must have a side window. It needs to fit an ATX motherboard and have atleast 2 or 3 hard drives bays preferably and atleast 4 5.25" bays for optical drives.

Thanks a lot, I would do this myself, but iv been looking and i have found some, but i figured you guys would know which ones had better circulation than others.

Also, its not necessary but try to keep around $100 please.

Ill keep looking in the mean time and see what i can come up with.

i love my cooler master stacker case it has lots of room to work whit, you can install tons of fans. mount 2 power suplies, need i go on. in my opinnion those lian li case are over-priced.

i agree which is why im looking for a cheaper alternative, however, i think i found one i like by thermaltake i think it was, ill post when i get home, im about to run out, but it was sub $100 and its got a mesh front, but im still open to suggestions from anyone.

I just dont like the advantages of it. From what i've heard it just isnt as sturdy or light as aluminum cases can be. Though frankly, i dont really care what it is. I just think aluminum cases look better.

Thats the URL to the case that i said i liked and am thinking of getting. The only thing, again, that i have againts it is that there are doors on the front. I like it though because it uses 120mm fans as opposed to the Lian Li case i was considering using which only uses 4 80mm fans. I think that those doors are small enough that my fan controller should clear dont you think? Im using a Zalman ZM-MFC1 fan controller and it just is too big to fit under most computer case front doors. Does anyone have any negatives about this case that they know of?

The Coolermaster Centurion 5 is quite nice and can be had for very reasonable prices if you look around. It only has a 80mm fan on the front for intake, and the stock one is quite noisy, but it blows right over the harddrives and when voltmodded makes hardly any noise. There is a 120mm exhaust at the rear and when combined with a PSU with a 120mm intake you get a very nice airflow. Not sure as to the quality of the stock PSU in it as I opted to get a small discount and buy it without. The case is a pleasure to work with, but those PCI bay clips are kind of useless... I still just screw my cards in for added stability.

I recently built a computer for a friend of mine, and while I usually stay away from TT, I bought him a ThermalTake SViking (VA4000). Both very good and very bad. The good - Most user friendly and well thought out case I have ever used. The bad - The included fans are INSANELY LOUD if you turn up the speed. You can turn it down though and it gets a lot better, but at a loss of quite a bit of airflow. It also does have a front door, which you are against, so it might not be ideal for you.

I actually like both of those cases mentioned above. Does anyone know whether the zalman fan controller i have will fit under the door of the sviking?

Also, the funny thing about the cooler master one that you listed is that it was actually the original case i was considering getting for this machine :D , but that aside, i think i may go with that one unless someone else posts one that is even better.

Did you say that the cooler master one had an option to have a 120mm intake? Cuz i saw that it had a 80mm intake already in it, but i didnt happen to see if it could fit a 120. Im trying to use the fans that i have already in this case that i have now, and that would mean using mainly 120mm fans.

Not sure, but it has a built in fan controller/temp monitor, so why bother?

I don't think that a 120 will fit in the front, but volt modding that 80mm fan is easy. I can check tonight to see if there is enough space in there, but from memory I doubt it.

Masstige.
Just googled it... looks like a sweet case. :)

Honestly, I plug the masstige at every point I can. I've had 2 raidmax cases, one of the lian-li PC-V1000's (which I sold to a friend for almost 200$) and many, MANY generic POS 50$ case+psu deals...

The masstige wins out of all of them. The only competition I see, so far, would be the stacker.

I just got the Antec P160. Its a all aluminum case with great wire management potential. Its a nice and roomy mid tower that looks sharp.

Im considering that Masstige because it looks nice and looks very functional in cooling. The only complaint i have about it would probably be how its got a reverse mounted Mobo tray. Other than that, it has everything I like, plus it looks like it cools the HDDs rather well which is the hottest point in my case ATM. The reason im not crazy about the reverse ATX is that it puts the Hottest processor (GPU) at the top of the case where all the heat collects. The thing that is nice about that though is that it shows off the HS for the GFX card better than conventional ATX cases.
