I need a cable or adapter to convert a 4 pin molex to a 3 pin female fan plug, so i can plug my side fan into my motherboard, when i try and monitor fan speeds and such, with it not being plugged into the motherboard it doesn't show up on the list.

if you plug a 4 pin fan into a 3 pin connector so you can plug it into your motherboard, you aren't going to be able to monitor the fan speed anyway. there isn't a RPM pin on 4 pin molex cables.

Thanks, didn't know if it would be possible or not, didn't really think it would.
