Nec FE 2111 SB 22''-Diamond Pro 2070SB PLEASE HELP ME

Unfortunately I live in Greece and I just have only those two options …if I want to get a Nec/Mitshu 22 incher.

Mitsh 2070 SB goes almost the double price as the the FE 2111 SB 22'

I am going to work mainly on 1280x1024 resolution so the higher options 2070 SB gives is goin to be more likely wasted…

I really want to know if I am goin to see any better graphics quality on 2070 SB that worth to spend almost the double amount of money for it?

In addition i know that there is another Nec model the FP 2141 that is identical to 2070SB and cheaper but unfortunately it doesn’t exist in Greek market.

There is another option at the same price range with the FE2111 SB the Viewsonic P220f .

So , please give me your advice ……

Go for one of the FE 2111 SB or Viewsonic P220f and which one you suggest?
Or totally empty my pocket and get the Mitch 2070SB…..

I would say get the FE 2111 SB because I have the 2070 so I am familiar with Nec/Mitsubishi quality. Your right the high resolutions are rather wasted ateast for me. Hell I use mine at 1152x864 at 85ref even though its capable of doing 150.

Just for the history here are the prices in Greece:

1. Mitch 2070 SB 1,239 Euro = 1,517.90 US dollars
2. Nec FE 2111 750 Euro = 918.83 US Dollars
3. Viewsonic P220F 720 Euro = 900 Us Dolars

Damn, they be ripping you off on the prices. I sure am glad to be an American, hehe. Anyways get the cheaper fe2111. It is the same as my 2141 cept in terms of refresh rates. I bought the fp2141 over anything else because it wasn't a huge difference in price between the 2. 2141 was $625 and 2111 was like $575 (both prices include shipping). I figured $50 it was worth getting the better monitor, but if it was several hundred dollars I would have definately gone with the fe2111. Also don't get the viewsonic, they used to make great monitor but I really think they have gone downhill recently with their crts.
