NEC 20GX2 Pro Widescreen

Does anyone know when/if NEC will ever release their 20WGX2 Pro Widescreen in the US?
I do not need to extras (i.e. speakers, TV tuner) that is on 20WGMX2.
Never. The Pro series is not going to be released in the US.
My guess is that it's because while we all like to think of companies as just 1 company, they really effectively are separate companies for each and every country - sometimes sharing the same resources, sometimes not.
Maybe the American/Canadian managers don't think it would sell well, or at least generate enough profit to warrant the effort. Maybe they already have too many speakers in stock? Maybe they printed too many boxes with speaker info? Who knows.
Stuff like this happens all the time to all companies in different countries.

There is no difference in screen technology or visual quality between the 20WGX2 and the 20WGX2 Pro. The only differences are that the Pro version says "Pro" on its bezel, and (I am not sure if I read this correctly) it supports an updated sound bar (which no one will use anyway).
