NB Chipset Compatibility

I'm putting together a water cool system and have all the parts picked out excpet for the Northbridge chipset water block.

I have an Asus P5AD2 Deluxe motherboard and the NB chip has a heatsink mounted using some sort of wires attached to clips on the motherboard. Most of the waterblocks i've seen require screw holes in the motherboard, but I don't have them.

I'm super anxious to get my very first WC mod done but still lack this last piece of equipment.

Can anyone suggest a NB chipset water block that would be compatible with my motherboard?

Comes with spring loaded hooks that clip on those 4 hooks

and yes it will fit

Intel mounts these days are pretty standard, just measure the difference between two hooks diagonally
 
Oh I see.

I'm a little concerned that my hooks may be postitioned further apart than this water block allow.

I measure right around 3" diagnol between the clips and the block says 1.9" x 2.4". Do you think I'm outta luck or should i contact DD?

I have the same.

1.9 is the height (B)
2.4 is the width (C)
3.0 diagonal (A)


A² = B² + C²
A² = (1.9x1.9) + (2.4x2.4)
A² = 3.61 + 5.76
A = 3.0"

Just a little pythagrian theorm to verify that everything makes sense, so you know for sure
 
So you're using the maze 4 on your northbridge block too?

I'm a math major so the Pythagoras Theorem makes perfect sense and clarifies this a bit as well.

DD just sent me an email stating that the dimension on the website say diaganol 2.4 but that it's NOT diaganol, so that reenforces your statements as well.

I bought a Maze4 for my Chipset, but havent used it yet. It causes a few tubing issues im trying to resolve
